Rocking Rayu – Lupin & native spice is an Australian/Japanese-inspired chilli bean oil that’s designed to turn everyday food from drab to delicious.
A bold and versatile infusion of flavours, blending the nutty richness of lupins with the aromatic heat of chilli oil. Inspired by Japanese rayu but enriched with native Australian spices, it incorporates ingredients such as cinnamon myrtle, anise myrtle, and pepperberry for a uniquely down under twist. Perfect as a topping or as part of a marinade, it adds depth to dishes like noodles, dumplings, grilled vegetables, or seafood. A note about ordering with us online:
- All orders within the Fremantle area will be delivered free of charge or can be picked up from South Fremantle Farmers Market on the first Sunday of the month.
- Orders outside of this region can also opt to pick up from a local farmers market and avoid delivery charges but will need to email us directly at im.a.tasty.spoonful@gmail.com or message us on Instagram @rockingrayu to organise this service.
A gentle request for patience: We are quite a fairly new and boutique-sized business currently, and we do our best to get your orders to you as quickly as possible. We hand-make our products, however, so between batch cooks and courier availabilities sometimes there can be up to a week delay in deliveries.
